Sterling bounces back as dust settles on Brown

Sterling started the day slipping away against most major currencies, following the political uncertainty that we saw at the back end of last week and over the weekend.

Should the dust settle over this saga you may well see investors heads start to turn towards the economic side of things again which may in turn lead to Sterling Strength.

It is an extremely importand period for the Pound and should we manage to swerve any further, major political unrest and continue to keep seeing the so called 'green shoots' appearing then the summer could bring great joy to those of you with upcoming property purchases abroad or those with the need to transfer Sterling overseas.

This is a brief summary of todays report. Click here to read the full report on our main website
