Every piece of data actually came out slightly better than expected apart from retail sales month on month, which was slightly lower than expected - although you would have expected Sterling to increase slightly off the back of this no major movements have been seen.
No further major releases are expected over the course of the day however be aware the markets have surprised us many times lately, and even as I am writing this Sterling is slipping away again - which shows that confidence in the Pound still seems to keep being knocked back.
It has been a rocky week so far, with great gains in the early part of the week for the Pound followed by losses after the BOE minutes and other factors yesterday, this all just goes to show that catching the rate at the right time is imperative as it can save you hundreds/thousands of Pounds - Just buying €100,000 at the highest point of the week as opposed to the lowest could of made a difference of over £1300.
