Sterling Euro could see large movements today with GDP and Interest rate decisions for the Eurozone also unemployment data for the U.S

Today looks to be important and will be a key indication as to what December may bring for Sterling,Euro and the U.S Dollar - Alongside a host of other currencies that are linked for example the AED - directly pegged to the U.S Dollar at 3.6725.

The Eurozone has two of the most important releases today firstly with the revised GDP (Gross Domestic Product) data this morning - Any figure different than expected could lead to volatility.

At 12.45 the Eurozone also release their interest rate decision followed by a speech by head of the ECB Jean Claude Trichet. No change in interest rates is expected however any comments in the speecxh after or mention of upcoming economic policies may bring market movements.

The U.S release some unemployment data later on this afternoon which will also be a key one to look out for.

Should you require information on expectations for these releases and the effects they may have do not hesitate to get in touch.
